The district has issued each student with a Chromebook, which they can use both in school and at home. This has enabled students to have access to digital resources, online textbooks, and a host of web-based learning tools. Teachers can also create and share digital assignments, grade online, and provide feedback to students in real-time.
Another technology implemented in the Jones County School District is the use of Google Classroom. This online learning management system has transformed the way teachers communicate with their students. Teachers can now create, distribute, and grade assignments online.
